East Hampshire

East Hampshire statue The District of East Hampshire occupies over 515 square kilometers (200 square miles) of superb countryside which includes the South Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, internationally renowned heathlands and hanger woodlands.

East Hampshire's population is in excess of 113,000, with over 4000 businesses and employment for 30,000 people together with about 6500 people in self employment.

The total housing stock exceeds 45,000 households, with 13% owned by Housing Associations following EHDC's Local Authority Stock Transfer in 1995.
